On November 5, 2012, I will have reached age 38, old enough to become our nation's president. And on this day, I do want to be elected our nation's 45th president.
I am not an egomaniac, a nut, nor a crackpot.
What I am is a citizen who would like to return the presidency to a position of honor and integrity. I want to see our country lead by example, to to be the just and rationale presence required as a global citizen.
I am disappointed with the lack of integrity and truthfulness with which administrations pursue their policies.
I am tired of the politicalization of issues, the rabid partisanship which leaves the truly important issues of the day unaddressed.
I yearn for our government to actually be for the people, by the people, and not the corrupt, bought-and-paid-for cancer it is becoming.
In the coming years I will ask you to re-evaluate how you place your vote, to determine what is truly important and to what standards our president, and all elected officials, should be held. I do not believe we ask or demand enough currently. I would like to see that change.
Stay tuned.
